Over 150 wounded in the police storm the protestas in Barcelona. 

In the center of Barcelona, there were riots and clashes with the police on Friday night. Earlier more than half a milion people in the city protested against the verdict oh the Spanish Supreme Court against regional separatists. The Spanish police assault troops intervented and 152 people were injured.

Protesters brought to Barcelona from all over Catalonia. Marching, they blocked, among others highway road and major roads in the region. Demostrators demanded freedom "for political prisioners", many had flag and yellow ribbons- a symbol of opposition to the imprisonment of separatists leaders.

On Friday, the day of the general strike in Catalonia, about 525,000 people demonstrated in the  street of Barcelona. The protest was peaceful but in the evening there were riots and clashes between the separatists and the police in the city center. Masked demonstrators threw stones, bottles at policemen. Protesters erected  makeshift barricades on the street and set fire to them. In response, law enforcement initially used tear gas. Then the police assault troops with water cannons entered the action. 152 people were injured.
