La corona partida, movie

La corona partida, movie   A brilliant Spanish historical film from 2016. The film presents the history of Spain after the death of Queen Isabel I de Castilla , showing the struggle for authority between her husband, King Fernando de Aragón and her son-in-law, Duke of Burgundy Felipe el Hermoso . The movie also shows the unfortunate fate of the controversial daughter of Isabel, Juana la Loca , who should be the successor to her mother, but her father and husband would not let her become the ruler of the kingdom. Juana was a victim and the men tried to prove her inability to rule and reign on her behalf. La corona partida is a continuation of the " Isabel " series. After the film, the TV series " Carlos, Rey Emperador ", was also created, depicting the fate of Isabel's grandson, who was the king and emperor.  Director: Jordi Frades  The film featured: Rodolfo Sancho, Irene Escolar, Raúl Mérida, Eusebio Poncela, Ramón Madaula, Fernando Guillén

Spanish affair 2, movie

Spanish affair 2, movie Today I'm going to introduce a comedy from 2015 called " Ocho apellidos catalanes ". It's a sequel to the movie " Ocho apellidos vascos ", which I have talked about in my previous posts. Fans of the comedy can follow the fate of the characters from the first part of the movie. The second part is not such a great comedy as the previous one, but after all, it's worth seeing how the fates of the heroes went.  The plot: Amaia (Clara Lago) after breaking with Rafa (Dani Rovira) falls in love with a Catalan named Pau (Berto Romero). Koldo (Karra Elejalde), her father, decides to draw his daughter away from the idea of marrying a new boy. To do so, he goes to Seville and persuades his daughter's former partner to return and make her fall in love again. In the company of Rafa's mother, Merche (Carmen Machi), he appears in Catalonia a few days before the planned ceremony. I highly recommend this movie!

Monuments in Spain that are worth seeing: the Alhambra, the most beautiful palace.  The Alhambra in Spain is a symbol of Muslim paradise . No wonder the Arabs cried when they had to leave her. The last Islamic city in Europe ceased to exist on January 2, 1492, when Abu-Abdullah, the last king named Boabdil , handed over the Alhambra to the besieging Spaniards. Afterwards, together with the queen, they left the castle and went into exile. On their way, the retinue stopped at a nearby hill. The king looked at the palace once more and cried. He knew he was leaving Earth's paradise forever. He was a witness of the fall and its perpetrator. The ambitious ruler first rebelled against his father, then for the money of the Spaniards, he started a civil war in Granada, to finally get frightened in the decisive moment and give the last Arab kingdom in Spain into the hands of Christians. The Alhambra, the palace of the kings of Granada, a symbol of the splendor of past eras, for
