Empanadas
Today I will write about empanadas, which I tried and are very good. I
would recommend!
Empanadas, a specialty from Spanish-speaking countries. They resemble
Polish pierogi. Inside them is a tasty stuffing, which can also be made in
many ways - from meat, fish or even egg stuffing to ordinary potatoes, various
vegetables or cheese. The whole can be fried in oil or baked on baking tray in
the oven. You can use them to make cakes similar to puff pastry, bread dough or
bread. These delicious stuffed pierogi are perfect not only as a main course.
They can also be an addition to various salads, and their flavor can be easily
enriched with various dips / sauces.
It is worth noting that they occur in different varieties, depending on the
country and region, there are, for example, a dozen or so of their varieties in
Argentina. They are a popular dish in South America.
