La corona partida, movie

A brilliant Spanish historical film from 2016. The film presents the history of Spain after the death of Queen Isabel I de Castilla, showing the struggle for authority between her husband, King Fernando de Aragón and her son-in-law, Duke of Burgundy Felipe el Hermoso.

The movie also shows the unfortunate fate of the controversial daughter of Isabel, Juana la Loca, who should be the successor to her mother, but her father and husband would not let her become the ruler of the kingdom. Juana was a victim and the men tried to prove her inability to rule and reign on her behalf. La corona partida is a continuation of the "Isabel" series. After the film, the TV series "Carlos, Rey Emperador", was also created, depicting the fate of Isabel's grandson, who was the king and emperor.

Storm Gloria hit Spain

Storm Gloria hit Spain. 13 fatalities. Gigantic losses Losses due to the Gloria storm that passed through the Iberian Peninsula reach tens of millions of euros in Spain, according to government estimates on Friday.
