Copious amounts of plot twists can confuse the viewer in a matter of minutes. Once the viewer thinks he is following the plot, a sudden detail shows up and destroys all of his assumptions. While watching the movie "Contratiempo", one must be vigilant, as it is easy to miss an important detail that may affect later understanding of the motivations of individual heroes. Young businessman Adrián (Mario Casas) wakes up in a hotel room next to his dead lover. Afterwards he decides to hire one of the best attorneys to tell her his course of events, in which, he claims that the murder was commited by a different man. Adrián's retrospections are the backbone of the whole story. The hero stubbornly tries to deduce an alternative version of the events. The woman interviewing
