Cocaine for over two billion zlotys intercepted by Polish services

Morawiecki, the Polish prime minister, said it was a European-scale action.

Officers closed down the cocaine factory and crashed the criminal group. Seven suspects were arrested. Almost 2 tons of cocaine was secured, whose black market value was valued at over PLN 2 billion. The estimated black market value of captured opium and cocaine is even PLN 2.2 billion.

According to the National Treasury Administration- drugs came to Poland from Colombia. En internacional criminal group has attempted to smuggle and produce drugs. A dog trained to detect narcotic drugs also helped. A search of two containers containing chalk officially, which arrived in Poland from Colombia, contain 1850 kg of high- quality cocaine.

Officers entered the hideout of criminals in Greater Poland (Wielkopolskie), where drugs were produced and distribuited on a large scals, completely surprising smugglers.

As a result of the action, citizens of four Colombian citizens, an Iranian living in Germany and two Poles were detained. The detained men will soon hear allegations of participation in an organized criminal group, smuggling and production of drugs in significant quantities. This type of crime is punishable by imprisonment for 3 years.
